Sheared off rotary cutter gearbox shaft

Got a bit too close to a foot bridge with the bush hog…..

Frame rail is 8” c channel.

Blade caught channel, put about a 4” gash in it and sheared the shaft clean of the gearbox above the stump jumper.

Any advise for a quick budget brand?

Quick google search shows about $150 could get me a new gearbox.

Ended up getting one from eBay.

One review said perfect fit for RCR1260 which is what I have.

Should be at the house in southern Illinois Thursday. $242ish tax/free shipping. I’ll update when the adventure of replacing it happens over the holiday weekend.
