SHARK BITE

/ SHARK BITE #2
A co-worker just used them on some repairs under his house with his Dad. They loved them and worked perfectly. I was going to use these on a project I had about 4 months ago, but Home Depot was out of the size I needed.

I was going to try some on something I am working on to see how they work. Supposedly re-useable, so I am curious how well they will hold up.

I have a Buddy that has been in the plumbing business for years, He uses them and them only anymore (when possible)... They are super fast reuseable and they will also let you change from copper to black poly(180 or 200 psi because of outside dia.) to CPVC on the 1" diameters...

I really don't know about the other diameters as his wife had things for him to do other than giving me an education!! :( she runs the show..

But I was totally sold on them... They are a little pricey though... but in the business, time=$$$ :D

Can you post a link or picture. I searched for shark bite on home depot page but came up empty.

ya i used a T on my single wide trailer when i put in the dishwasher.

the ploybutletube (grey first gen pex) has been a real pain to deal with, but them shark fittings take it fine. so i pushed it on the old line, and 2 pieces of pex in the other ends.

not a prob.
