I had a 69 Charger special edition RT. The only version to come with a chrome luggage rack on the trunk. It had the 440 six pack.

What a pain it was to keep that running right.

Yup, those luggage racks were finicky!

Not as finicky as the 3 carburetors. The luggage rack was added on only the 69 special edition RT. Both options included the center console and the upgraded instruments. The clock with the tachometer around the outside of it. The luggage rack was to offset that. It was never available through parts. There were very few of them.
