You-haul reminds me of the guy pulling his toy pickup behind his RV with the brakes locked up and tires burned off. When told about it, he looked at it, said it was OK and drove off. Probably guys that don't stop and ask for directions either.

A guy fighten with his old lady, might do something like this.

That's 2 pickups being flat towed with tow bars behind a 3rd.

It was ok though, he had his flashers on the rear truck.

Ya. 5-10mph overloaded on pavement & a little bit of dirt is only going to break your trailer or truck, not endanger other people.

BUT..... The FACT is, he did neither.

i am happy to see a recovery,, but,,
I think they are wrong about seeing any damage in that photo,,

Sometimes, the double axle hanger will assume that position,, mostly when the hitch is too high, or too low,,

My 10' dump two axle trailer hangers look like that,, all the time,,,

I thought so also. But that picture was a screen shot of what they had as damage..

42 sacks that weigh 80 lbs each plus the pallet. Probably overload by at least twice the vehicle capacity.

I had a full pallet of 80lb bags in my F350 plus a handful more, whatever it took to get to 50 bags since that's what I needed... That thing was squatting, even with the airbags aired up more than I normally do it was still low... one of these days I need to dig into things and check them out since it has more than 350k miles on the clock...

Actually, it could be that the black truck is carrying such a heavy load that the blue truck and white truck are actually helping to push him up a grade and likewise extra braking going down.
You know, like the big boy heavy haulers do it!

Heh, on a wheeling trip a few years ago, a couple brothers flat towed a jeep wrangler with a square body Suburban about 300 miles from home. While wheeling the burban developed a rod knock... stopped wheeling with it at that point and on the way home the engine made it about 1/2 way... one brother jumped in the Jeep and pushed the burban to the nearest town that was close enough for AAA to tow it home :).

The stupid thing is the owner of the burban bought it for $500, wheeled the SNOT out of it (smiles per mile were higher than any other time I could mention, he was honking at $100k rigs to go faster on trails...) and parted the thing out and ended up $500 ahead...

The 4000lb in the bed of the F350 mentioned above was well within it's capabilities I know, and I was probably unreasonably overprotected but people were wigging me out at work... plus I haven't checked the U bolts in a while...
