As a truck driver I see and move them all day. I have no love for them. I will use them to move stuff with my fork attachment though. However with all the nasty stuff we spill on our dock, The one we set pallets on, I would never take one in my house.

I would bet the garbage can is not even tied on. I haul mine out with the tractor usually but on occasion just hook it over the trailer ball on the pickup and pull it out. I can see where someone could forget it was there. Need to make a note to myself to never do that or I might end up in this thread.

I'm amazed that it still has wheels to roll on; if it's anything like the wheely-bins here they are plastic wheels with no bearings. They're barely up to the task at moving at a walk when loaded.

Mine is really noisy when being pulled by the truck. I think you would have to have the stereo blasting to not no it was there. When I use the truck to pull it I only go about walking speed as I don't think the wheels would take much more. Maybe I was wrong.

Maybe he did not want to pay the dump or curb fees and was taking it to work to dispose of. yikes! :confused3:
