For the record, I too thought you were saying your new truck tires were marked at 35# on the sidewalls.. Thus my reply.

That was pretty clear to me as well, and I had written a reply out before deciding that it was more than likely that the post was just worded wrong so I cancelled it. I've got an editor's eye when I read but I've come to realize that it's totally better to avoid pedantry...

Picked up a rental mini-van with family coming to visit for a Yosemite wedding...

California roads often leave something to desire.

The car just felt off.

Rear tires 30 and 32 psi... front tires 35 and 85 psi and this was direct from the SF Airport rental garage.

Came home and adjusted the pressure after fixing lunch for the visitors... what a difference.

What idiot puts 80 psi in a tire and is that even possible with the new inflators that you have to dial in a pressure and then they signal when reached.
