Remember clamp-on trailer hitches.

Bruce

I used one so much I bought it...

Last car it was clamped to was a Ford Granada...

The 35hp outboard boat was kept at the cabin and 8 short blocks to the lake...

The clamp on hitch worked like a charm and made it very convenient as it would fit just about any bumper... it was made by Valley I believe.

**** people not using the right size ball and lock or, it seems even chains, kinda piss me off. Hope they get slapped hard by the law and/or family.

BTW, not to seem calloused here, but a 29yo with grandchildren?

Step grandchildren, he must have married a much older lady.

Saw this today, rural ND.

What do you do when you need to haul 14ft boards, and only have a 6ft truck bed?

This guy passed me in the oncoming lane @ 70 mph. I had to hit the gas pretty hard to catch him again, just to see if what I saw was really what I saw.

Yup. It was.

That's an aluminum extension ladder btw, in case you can't tell from the pics (sorry for the dirty windshield - bugs).

LOL.. I've done that before with 12' drywall in a 6' bed... ladder and all :) Though I did buy a 8' 7/16" OSB and used the 5gal pals of mud as counter balance.

Sure glad none of you guys were around :p
