Been there, done that. I loaned a Silverado to to my brother so that he could pull his new boat back from the dealer since his truck was in for repairs. I never thought a thing about it until the morning after he returned it and I wanted to run into town for breakfast and the transmission was clanking, slipping and groaning.
I called him up and asked how the return trip was and he told me that it was great, that he might even get himself a Silverado after driving mine. I asked him if he'd used the tow/haul mode coming home and he asked me what that was.

That's why I have a deflector on the front of my hood - to take care of these kind of hazards. :wink:

I think I just heard the sound of something flying over someone's head.....




This kind of thing just boggles my mind. My brain cannot process the concept of apparently functional adult people being so stupid that they think they can just lay something on top of a car or truck and drive it somewhere.
