I was considering that hitch and decided not to go aluminum

In defense of the full size camper on the Ranger a page or so ago, perhaps he was just transporting it a short distance for some reason. I got a free topper for a longbed that I wanted for dry storage on a parts pickup and I brought it home on a standard bed. Granted, it wasn't nearly as scary as the camper, but technically still wrong.

I certainly need one of these for everyday driving and any warranted brake checks I might need to apply in heavy traffic! Even better than my WDH on a drop shank and that beast looks like a wrecking ball when there is no trailer attached to the back!

Here in Indiana we call that a Kentucky Go-Faster! You can tell this idiot has never towed a single thing with that hitch and the reflectors are just comical.

I just ASSumed that was a joke. I mean who the heck would really do that? That's a lot of washers. He probably got the bulk pack at lowes.

On a somewhat related note, a few years ago at work they took away everyone's combo ball mount/pintle hook. The short of it was that if you had less than a ton and half truck, you shouldn't be towing things that big.

Maybee it was a translation issue, and they were saying they were unreliable

When the manufacturer says they don't rely on their welds - their customers shouldn't rely on their welds either.

Best solution for the customer would be to buy a different brand.
