How to move an old 10,000+ pound Dozer: (apologies if this is already posted on here. It's new to me...)

1) get out the welding torch, old trailer, and a tractor to pull it on the trailer...

2) Get that little load all hooked up to the MINIVAN! ​

Looks like he was cutting off an old chain that might have been bound up? The video really is worth a few minutes of time... Between the tractor bouncing up and down, the winch line cranking, and that poor minivan hanging out there as the dozer gets loaded I had a few chuckles. They did a great job of balancing the load at the end, and there is little to no squat on the van. I'm sure the tranny and brakes can handle it too.

I have seen the video before. I'm sure the mini van was rated to tow a dozer. If they had put a couple jack stands under the trailer it would have worked better.

Easy now. :laughing: I'm actually just over in Conroe America, north of Houston, and have friends from Cut 'n Shoot. That video does indeed look like it could have originated around here. I just hauled my Max 25 over to Cleveland for a buddy to put on his consignment lot, and I was amazed at all the homegrown ingenuity one can see along Highway 105 East! I do love this part of the world. Where in TX is home two_bit_score?

At least he had the chain hooked to the draw bar and not the boom pole. That could have been more interesting.
