Here is one of me today, 14' (although bent) Chain Link gate on the FEL.

It didn't stick out beyond the driver side tire much (it was bent pretty good) but every car I passed gave me a wide path.

Luckily I didn't need to go far.

Takes a real smart fella to not notice your hitting multiple bridges while pulling an excavator. $1400 fine should be in addition to the repair bill for the 5 bridges.

The Fine seems low.

Around here, forget about hitting something, you'd be paying close to that amount just having the wrong sticker on your trailer. (Yes, my province has been running a huge deficit for the better part of a decade now).

You should stand up for your rights and attach that gate permanently to the drawbar on your truck ! :thumbsup:

But it should ONLY be attached to the FRONT or he's completely wrong! :cool:
