Is this a good idea? I don't know, but I thought it was worth a picture.

Pretty sure the guy sitting in it caught me taking this.

Btw, both had South Carolina tags. This was in SW Virginia.

That was an expensive experiment.

ALWAYS set the parking brake on the tow vehicle. (or the idiot with the camera could have just held his foot on the brake)

A single MC trailer doesn't weigh much.... but since a Vanagon barely has enough engine to move itself along, I can sort of understand the approach taken.

I'll vote for chocking the front wheels too..... rear wheels (tow vehicle) often don't stay 100% planted. You can get even more spectacular results with 0% rear wheel traction !

Parking brake does no good if the rear wheels come off the ground or lose traction. :)
