Seen in Oklahoma City Oklahoma I-35 at about 65 mph to 70 mph. Wheels on this log splitter looked smaller than my wheelbarrow tires. About 3:30 pm in the afternoon so traffic was flowing pretty well. The Ford 4 x 4 did seem to be able to handle the load and tow it just fine.

Pretty much the same as I have, tows well, highway rated tires and bearing, I'll run at 70 on the highway with it behind the Jeep, haven't towed it with the Ram 1500, if I did I'd have to run my adjustable hitch, 18" rims and 4 inch lift on the ram. It wouldn't notice the splitter......

How about all the bedliners you see beside the road. I see one monthly I think...

That's how I got a bedliner for my old chevy truck.....

Those shed moving pictures reminds me of when I moved a shed to my new house years ago. Jacked the shed up, backed a dual axle snowmobile trailer under and lowered it. Then pulled it home with my 94 Grand Cherokee. It all went fine but that's one odd looking thing to see in your rear view mirror and pretty much all you could see. Top speed was 35mph, less than a 10 mile drive. The height was a bit of concern for me as I was driving through the center of the city that borders my town. I wouldn't do that again.

Honestly I don't think it's that bad. You could have chained the fork carriage to the top of the mast for added safety.

I have to admit, I've done that before, usually when working on equipment trailers.........

I service the equipment, so I do have faith that I won't have a sudden hydraulic failure.....

One day I might convince the company to purchase a lift. Of course, then I'd need a concrete pad poured to put it on.........I won't hold my breath.

Um.... what load? I push mine around the yard by hand.

Those tires are rated at 45 mph. I have towed mine at 55, but running them at 70 will eventually get spectacular.

A bump, pot hole, road trash and that little splitter is going to be all over the place. Be darn sure you have the correct ball size connected and good safety safety chains. At least most of it will still be back there in some form or fashion while your doing 70.
