Good point but most Harley guys barely wear a bucket... I had a teacher who crash on a ninja he said last time he check the speedo he was going at 240km/h (149mph) and he was still accelerating, he was wearing a full face and he had a decent suite, he lost a arm and had many injuries but didn't die... probably a miracle.

Wait, I didn't say I was for helmets. I think it should be a personal choice. What I intended was that was the only argument that had any merit for helmets.

We pulled a camper with our Goldwing and slept perfect. I don’t know why so many are against camping? Some of us enjoy camping. Pulled this camper about 100,000 miles

Depends, to a degree, on where you camp.

i’ve camp and live all my life in very remote places, ok not grizzly country but still I never had a bear causing me issues, folks leave grease, food and garbage on their camp site then wonder why bears come for a visit. Burn you food left over and pick up after yourself you will be just fine.

Well picking up after themselves is not a lot of peoples strong suit
I backpacked through a lot of bear country my youth without issues.

I was just having some fun.
I've camped quite a bit, and of course through various hunting seasons (including bear season) I've seen a couple. No biggie.

I've also shared my theory here that if you can get past the attacking claws and teeth, scratch them behind the ears and they calm right down.
Possibly even roll over for you to scratch their tummies.
