Looks like the trucks headache rack did it's job and the guys adrenaline induced strength prevented the car from going on it's roof at least. When I see stuff like that It always makes me wonder how it happened and what were they thinking...

Easily could have been a fatality. Good thing he was fast and strong. Would have worked out much better if he was smart.

Agree, it would have been smarter just to let it go. Probably totaled anyway. One slip and he could have been dead.

I wonder if the request passed through too many hands. Highway patrol at the site asked for a tow, but H.P. dispatcher just heard 'truck'. Then probably replied 'I don't know, maybe a big one' when asked by the tow company what needed towing.

So they sent Brutus.

That's going to cost like an ambulance ride.

I got a feeling from the cashier that this station has had a lot of hassle from the government for selling red diesel to automobiles. This was before the VW TDI recall.

Or maybe it was something else. But he had no interest in debating it. Just No.

We dont have red diesel anymore in Holland, but they used to charge 10 bucks fine for every liter of tank content if you got caught.

Not wanting to sound arrogant and not having both sides of the story, but having had a job towing cars before. That video struck a chord with me, and if it is what it looks like the owner of pick up truck deserves the book thrown at him imo.
