Guy’s rooftop cargo carrier popped open while driving……saw some clothing type items on the road then saw him pulled over about a tenth of a mile up.

Always double check a secure load - no matter how small.

And never trust the "latches" on those to hold...

9400# of skid steer on 7000# of axles attached to an old truck flatbed and a mobile home tongue, what could possibly go wrong...

That trailer would be an atrocity towing it empty. Home made with a truck flat bed, the hitch off of a single wide trailer, and the 3K axles are way too far forward. Probably had negative tongue weight even empty.
Yeah it's not very well thought out

So, what is the reaction from the police if caught with this type of loads on public roads?

Kind of an interesting “hauling” picture on the NYS Thruway today - based on his license plate, looks like a mobile ham radio set up.

Either that or an Internet Explorer Maps car……(ha ha)

Typically can't move it on the public roads, have to carry it away on a larger trailer. Which will be expensive.

Yes - I had googled his plate/call sign and saw that he was from Clarence (pic was taken heading West around Victor).

I thought it was interesting just because the antennas, I would think, would have been too fragile to drive around; obviously not though.
