Shaft Drive

I looked at a 1545 (I think that is the model) Cub lawn tractor but didn't notice until I got home that they were belt drive. I thought they were all shaft drive or are those models their version of the JD 100 Series? I would buy from a dealer but I saw this one at TSC.

2500 and 3000 series CUBS have shaft drive. The 1000 and 1500 series are belt drive. Shaft drives are only available at dealers who also sell the 1000 and 1500 series units as well. Whatever you buy, buy it from a dealer.
