3-Point Hitch Setting the plow, till, lock, control ?

in the absence of a manual...I am trying to get my three point hitch snow blower trimmed out right to avoid digging in on a rural lane.
aside from top link adjustments, can anyone advise how this control works and how it may improve floating the snow blower on uneven surfaces?
