Service Manual

I had a Cub Cadet 1450, made by IH, for 26 years and 1150 hours. Shortly after purchasing I ordered all the service and parts manuals from International and was able to keep it running well for all those years. I just replaced it with a new 3235 and 54 inch mower. I received a parts manual with the tractor and found a downloadable owner's and service manual for the Kohler Command 25 engine. Is it possible to obtain a service manual for the tractor itself anywhere? I checked the MTD website and didn't find anything. Thanks!

No, I didn't. The next time I'm out that way I'll stop in an ask. Not finding any reference to a service manual on the web didn't seem like a good sign.

I got my Cub Cadet 7275 manuals from MTD. I called the number listed on the website. I gave them my serial number and model. They shipped me the parts maual, service manual and owners manual. They did however cost me around $90.00 I belive. They were well worth it in my opinion. Check out the attachment to see the size of the manuals. 1-800-800-7310 is the Cub number for manuals.

thanks Jim, I'll check it out. I got a parts manual and owners manual with the tractor and downloaded the engine owner and service manuals but still need the tractor service manual.

Hey Bob,

Do you still have your 1450? Are you interested in selling the manuals? I have one I would like to fix up. Did you get good service from you cub? It seems like a good machine. With 1 cylinder there sure is a lot of vibration though.
