Someone here surely knows of a good hydraulic oil for these tractors that would replace the "Bobcat special oil".
Yeah, Bobcat has their own labeled tires, too (General Purpose and
All Purpose, aka R4 and R1). That does not mean you have to buy them.
At least Kioti lists alternative oils in their owner's manual. I buy the
best name-brand Tractor-Hydraulic Fluid, and look for the manufacturer
equivalency label on the side. I like to see Kubota UDT or JD J20C
equivalences noted. (They also look and smell the same.) I have
bought many many 5-gal bkts of Chevron 1000 THF and Conoco76
THF. Some Kubota dealers sell UTF in 5-gal bkts for a reasonable price,
too. I can get Conoco's THF now for about $8-9/gal from an oil
disti.
