But what I came here to report was that I got the 'Internal Server Error' yesterday, a moment after midnight, when I entered an edit to a post I had put up just before midnight. (PDT). The edit failed several times and returned that error notice. Then I went independently to the thread using a new window and found the post had not been changed. A few minutes the attempted edit posted correctly.
I wonder if the daily backup is run at that hour.

I got the same thing a couple of times today
We changed the Top Posters page to redirect to the FAQ. So for the next couple of days as we do a little fixing of things we have to disable some of the pages that were causing the bigger problems.
Sorry that didn't get posted up when we changed it. But rest assured it's us, not you.

No, it's not supposed to be working. We haven't looked into it because it's not as critical as other things on the server.
