Serial number TC24?

I can't find my owners manual right now, and everytime I get to where my tractor is it's dark and raining. Anyone know where the serial number is on this model? I assume its on a plate on the left side, but...

All I have seen are on a plate up under the left operator's platform on the clutch/transmission case right behind the engine.

is NH still puting them aft of the starter? on the bellhousing.... my 02 7610s is like that. pretty standard from about mid 1953 at least til 02 that I know of.

Soundguy, I think that method of marking may be on larger tractors, but I believe all Shibaura engine TCs are marked on the transmission case on the left side under the operator platform. Perhaps Shibaura doesn't know the tractor serial number when the engine is manufactured and it's easier for NH to assign it and label it in a different spot.

So I finally found it. Right hand side, on the inside of the front bumper frame all the way forward. It's not mounted on the engine or tranny.

Holy Smokes! On the INSIDE of the bumper frame? Did you have to knock on a door, say the magic word three times, and use your decoder ring?

what.. the underside of the rear end wasn't available for someone to lay on a creeper and hand stamp them upside down?
