Ive got the serial number for a john deere deck but i cant seem to find out what models it goes to through their website. I need to find out if it fits on a smaller or larger frame 4000 series tractors.

Your best bet would be to go straight to a JD dealership. Even then I'd get a second opinion.

what size deck is it. I have a 72" deck and my dealer could not get any description based on the part number I have. neither could the Deere website!. I have yet to call Deere and ask. However, my deck says right on the serial number, it is for "42/4410" Tractors - which I guess means "4210/4310/4410" tractors
