Selling tractor looking for fair price advice

Yeah, it makes ones ask... How? How was it used, stored, cared for? What other issues are about to arise?

Or what is the quality of this machine? Do I even want a tractor that has this many issues in such a short time? No.
I had a tractor for 14 yrs with 4 times the hours and fewer issues.
I think this machine has design/build problems and possible maintenance issues. But that is just my picky buying analysis. I don't buy other peoples problems.

Which is why two years ago it made more sense to buy new, than slightly used. Slightly used in the CUT market, is typically very abused.

I could see that for some. 1.5 yrs ago I was leaning that way, even went to the Kubota dealer and priced what I wanted. I was shocked by the price. So I kept looking, nationwide even. Then by sheer luck I saw what I wanted on CL for the right price. Tractor was garage kept, 150 hrs, 4 yrs old, showroom condition with remotes and gannon I wanted. Owner was moving out of state. I paid cash and took possession the same day. It now has 400 trouble free hrs on it. Kubota, baby

The broken pto brake is a deal killer for most people. Get that fixed before selling.

I’d say start at $15k. If I were looking to buy it from you and knew it had to be split to fix the pto I’d want to give you a little less than $10k. It looks like there are a lot more of the 33hp New Holland tractors for sale than ones like yours.

I have a 2020 TC35D without bucket ~2400 hrs. I've experienced all the issues listed and fixed them myself. Look on Ebay and find a used maintenance manual, it will save you thousands. Granted it will take likely several days to fix the issues and likely a few hundred dollars in parts. Maybe ask around town for someone that has general mechanical skills and hire them to come out and repair for you. NH Boomers are notorious for these issues. Search repair threads on this website as well;great advice on fixing these issues. I've got the inclination to upgrade to new tractor next year as well. Good luck!

@tractorblue, how did you fix the PTO spinning problem? i would to fix the problems my self.

The problem with selling something that has so many issues and then telling potential buyers that you cannot afford to do the repairs, it would make one also think perhaps you couldn't afford to do the scheduled maintenance either. That could scare away buyers. It would me!

470 hours and couldn't keep up with 4 problems/ repairs. I wouldn't even go look at this one. Owner probably saved by skipping routine maintenance also.
