Kubota L48 w/sims steel cab
I would like to get some input from some of the people here on the forum as to what my L48 is worth.

It is a 2004 TLB model w/273 hrs. Has a Sims all steel cab w/heat & wipers, front & rear (3-point) remote hydraulics, 16" backhoe bucket, quick attach on the front.
Tires are 90% all the way around. Also have a full set of filters for air, fuel and oil change. The machine is just shy of brand new and if I buff it, it will look brand new.

I may sell this machine unless I have need for it in some new bids I will be giving to a large construction contractor.
Thank you for your input.

I might say just a tad less, but $28 sounds about right if it is as nice as you say.

WOW!!
I got a price from my dealer of $32,500. I guess with the new m59 it has really droped in price.:(

32500 is retail from a dealer and right now, I think if you have every single Kubota option, several others like a grapple plus your cab, there is no way you're getting 32500.. I know around the new england area one is hard pressed to get 26 for a really decent low hour, reasonably optioned machine, and yet, here, we pay quite a bit more in the beginning than most of the country does,.

I believe you can still get new L48s for around $39.9K until they are all gone. When I bought my 2nd L48, it came down to buying the new M59 and trading in the 2005L48 I have......until they offered me waaayyyyy to little in trade in. It was actually cheaper for me to buy a NEW 2nd L48 with no hoe than to go up to M59 with trade in. I don't know about you, but 2 L48s is better to me than 1 M59. There is someone around these parts with a machine similiar to yours with low hours, 2006 I belive, and he wants $36 firm. No way is he going to get it though. Why are you selling yours?

Brand new 08 L39s are going for 34-36k around here depending on options w/super financing so I think 32.5k cash deal no warranty would be amazing to get for a 4 year old L48. I'd say 25k cash for an average cond 04 plus something more for excellent cond low hours cab and heat.

It just sits there and my bobcat and mini-x do all the work and much faster.

But I may have a use for the L48 if I get some contracts with a larger (Pinkard) construction company. I may need to do sill fence then it would be the perfect machine (with a trencher) for this job.

Thanks once again for all of your input.;)
