Grading selling frontier boom blade

I just bought a new 72: version of that blade system. If I may pry, was it something to do with the workmaship of the unit? My currently has a leveling issue.

It is a great attachment I just don't need it. I did not have enuff snow to use it. I will stick with the bucket.

Mathew, you will be taking a big hit on that one. Even with only 5 hours use. I doubt that you will get any where near the $2,900 you have in it,but good luck I hope you find someone that wants one. Maybe you can have your dealer sell it on consignment for you. I think the dealer would be able to get top dollar over an individual trying to sell it.

I would be happy with $1650.00 for it. I know you would not be able to get one for that price anyware else.

Gee isn't the 84" a little big for the 4310? Then Maybe not.

The 84" blade is not too big for a mid framed machine. I have the 72" blade and have a similar problem as Matt, that is, not enough snow to justify the cost and space occupied for me. I opted for the 72" secondary to the slight improvement in mobility secondary to some of the tight spaces I have to work in--but, little snow this year. The Frontier blades in general are much more heavy duty and nicer than the older JD blades they replaced. They have a taller moldboard. With a mid or large frame machine they are great, and the 3120 of Matt's or my 3720 has no problem handling either size. For anyone buying such a blade there are a couple things to keep in mind: first, they do stick out quite a bit so they are not great for tight spaces (vs. a frame mount); and second, they take up a fair amount of space when stored. The good news is that they plow great, have excellent workmanship, are heavy enough for snow or dirt and are easy to attach and detach. They also have paired mounting pins for mounting on either 300 or 400 series loaders. That is a nice feature.
