Mahindra 2216
When my husband went to restart our tractor this evening, there was no power. He can't even turn on lights or 4-ways. He checked the battery and the battery is good. The terminals are clean and tightly connected. He used the tractor this afternoon, with no problems. We pulled the two line fuses and don't see where there's any problem with these. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Ok. Here's a fairly random one but worth a quick look. I'm not sure if the 2216 is the same as the 4035 but...on mine -part of the wiring harness sits up at the front of the tractor just behind the battery. When I put a new battery in my tractor a month ago I bumped that housing and connections. I spent 10 minutes trying to figure out why my tractor was totally dead with a brand new battery. Then I remembered I had inadvertently bumped that wire housing. I didn't really think that was the cause but figured it was worth a look. In bumping it I had just barely caused one of the connectors to separate and it killed the entire tractor. I pushed it back together, hopped back on and it fired right up.

I have a 2216. Three main things that block starting the tractor (gear version) are the "Range Shift Lever", the "Rear PTO Control Lever", and "Mid PTO Control Lever" if equiped. The "Range Shift Lever" when engaged does not block the lights or the instrument panel from working. I went out in the dark to verify this and lights and instrument panel worked with "Range Shift Lever" engaged, but did not verify the PTO, which I assume would act the same. There is no seat switch and no clutch switch (gear version).
I'd go with what XFaxman stated about corroded cables on the frame or ground for starters and I have read of this issue in these forums. The connections on the battery itself on this tractor are particularly prone to corrosion, but as the OP stated these were checked.

Doubt it will be any of the safety switches. The post says even the flashers will not work. I would lean towards ground wire or even the positive wire where it connects to starter. That's where power leaves to go to ignition, lights, fuses, etc.
