I own a MT180HD that has developed a fuel leak. I am leaking fuel at the bowl where the fuel line is connected. The fitting coming out of the sedement bowl has become loose, it doesn't appear to have snapped off. It appears to be some how fitted and perhaps set in place by a snap ring of sort, I'm not sure, but I'd like to get this fixed since i leave a puddle of diesel fuel on the ground. Anyone know how this assembly is put together?

I thought I was the only one with an MT189H, but mine is not a 'D'.

Really haven't looked at the 180, but the S630D I once had did the same thing as yours. The fitting was just a smooth tube pressed into the housing. It started to seep, got progessively worse and finally fell out. I cleaned it really well, roughened the hole and tube with emory cloth, coated it with JB Weld and next day it was fine. Held up for a couple of years until I sold the tractor.

Kens fix is a good suggestion. Try it. If it doesn't work in your situation, call me toll free 1-800-609-5110 for a new one or parts for yours. Bill - satohparts.com
