I haven't been around this board for a year or so and things go to snot. Wallace Tractors is not a Kioti dealership anymore !?!?!?!?
I don't know what to make of it. Anyway.
The seat on my CK30 is falling apart. First a part on the seat suspension came apart so my brother and I zipped tied it so it wouldn't slide back and forth. Now the bottom pan is rusting out and there's nothing to keep it bolted to the suspension. Neither duct tape, zip ties or bailing string looks like it'll keep it together. I even thought of welding a plate on the bottom but the metal is too thin and rusted. It's too bad because the business side of the seat is holding up pretty good with no holes or cracks.
Has Kioti come out with a new and improved seat suspension and seat? I can't be the only one with this problem. Is there an after market or other brand seat and suspension that is better than Kioti's and would bolt right where the OEM seat bolts on?
The tractor is running good. My brother sold his old grey market Iseki and bought a 10,000 lb trailer with the proceeds so he could fetch my tractor whenever he needed it. It works out great for both of us because I can borrow his F350 diesel and trailer whenever I need to haul the tractor.
Since I haven't had to tinker on the tractor for quite a while I bought a salvage titled 2001 Kawasaki Voyager that I had to pull the engine on to fix. I got it dialed in this summer and it is one sweet ride. Oh yeah this is the tractor forum. Anyway if anybody has any insights on replacement CK30 seats let me know.
