Need help on removing seat on John Deere 3032E. Have been told that I need to remove it and bring it into my house to warm up.

Our service tec. thought that the seat may be frozen and the auto stop feature may not work properly. It will start, and then when you put it in gear it quits. It acts as if no one were seating on it. I am disabled and my poor wife is the one trying to remove the seat. I told her that I was calling the tec and have him make a farm call. Driveway and paths to live stock are almost impassable. thanks for the response
