seat cover repair

I've got a minor problem on my B2910....the vinyl seat covering is coming loose from the cushion. I would like to find some way to glue that down before the seat cover begins to fall apart. I am thinking about injecting some contact glue into the area with a hypodermic needle....the glue should seal the small holes, and hopefully the contact glue won't damage the foam rubber underneath. Any ideas....has anyone had/fixed this kind of minor issue.

I had the same thing happen with my seat. I was on eBay where I found seat covers. I got one and I am getting another to protect my other seat . They were sold by tractorboyparts . These were John Deere ones. Maybe they can get other ones. Hope that helps you.

I had a small triangular cut in my brand new seat.
1 inch square of duct tape works great.

headliner glue maybee.

3m makes some good spray adhesives that won't attack foam..

then cover with some vinyl repair tape to seal it perhaps?

Fixed it. Lowe's sells a Loctite glue for Vinyl/fabric repair, and I filled an old computer printer ink refill hypodermic needle with the glue, and injected the glue at 3 points. Then I pushed the vinyl back down onto the foam, and held it for a few minutes. The glue held, and sealed up the 3 tiny holes, so now the seat is back to like new, and you have to look real hard to see where the needle marks are.

cool thanks for the report. will have to look at that. I have a seat with a piece of vinyl lifting..
