Hello All, I need more knee room than the seat adjuster allows. Has any one move the seat rail or correspondent parts back or customise your seat in anyway? I have some different ideas but want to check with you all before I go and recreate the wheel.

P.S. its a DK45s (Dirty Kid 45 smiling:laughing:)

I'm in the same situation!
I think I'm going to put risers under the seat and see if that helps.
You might want to check my post on key location.

Well as it was still raining today and i was out in the shop changing the oil in my tractor I decided to add the risers under the seat. I just happened to have some 2" SQ ss tubing so I went up 2 and back 1" by offseting the holes. it seems better sitting on it will see when the rain stops.

I had the same problme on my DK35 but don't want to move the seat further from the HST pedals. So I cut off the turn signal arm and ground down the key as mentioned in the thread:
http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/kioti-owning-operating/206080-my-dk35-modifications.html

I'm somewhere around 5'10 (shrinking with age :( ) but find the HST and brake pedals farther than I'd like. But it's a tradeoff because their locations leave lots of room for the deck. And I just have to remember it's a big improvement over straddling the transmission of my previous L275. :)

Used the tractor today with the seat moved up 2 and back 1 .
I like it, feels different but i had alot more knee room.

The pedal position is too far back for me also. It kills my knee if I am on the tractor very much. I like the idea of moving the seat up and back. I think I will make that mod also. I had been thinking of a leaning post similar to my center consul fishing boat (I know that would not be practical, just illustrates my frustration). Thanks for the pics they are very helpful.

You will notice the difference. It doesn't sound like much but it was all i needed.
Good luck
