I was using my Sears LT 1000 (917.272082- Kohler CV490 Type 27509) ride on. Just refueled it and drove a bit to hook up a wagon. As it was sitting there running fine it just died. Turn the key and nada. No click nothing. Battery is new and good. Just had to make a major repair 2 weeks ago. Needed a new flywheel key in the process I changed the ignition module, new fuel lines & filter. Can anybody can point me in the right direction? I'm a noob to this stuff and can't afford a real mechanic. Thanks Joe

Well, if it died and then no crank- I would suspect that the fuse has popped. The next question is why.

Thank You! Now I've got to find the fuse and report what I've found.

Solved: Besides a blown fuse it was the solenoid that broke. I also found a loose ground wire. Thank You TomPlum for pointing me in the right direction.
