Sears GT5000 3-pt hitch retrofit

I have an electric 3-pt hitch (NOT a sleeve hitch) that I removed from a Sears Suburban SS18 and would like to mount it to my 2004 Sears GT5000, as I am not impressed with the Sears sleeve hitch set-up. However, I found that when the SS18 hitch is placed on the GT5000 rear frame, the gas tank of the GT5000 blocks the upward movement of the 3-pt hitch. Is there an adapter bracket that I can use to make this retrofit possible?

Can you post some pictures? If so I might be able to help. I also have about an '05 GT5000 and would be interested in that setup for mine.

If you can't make that 3 point set up work, you might want to take a look at the electric sleeve hitch at "Johnny Products". I have that and it works great --- I've found a lot more small sleeve hitch implements than Cat 0 3 point implements.
