Sears electric fence charger model 436.22029

Anyone have any information regarding a fence charger made by Sears model 436.220029? It's and oldie but mine was hardly used. My late father-in-law had it and I grabbed it to use on my fence for the horses. There wasn't a manual. My husband stated it packs a punch and can burn weeds. I was wondering if it would be too strong of a current for the horses, although there is one horse I would love to sap! Secondly, could it be used on the polytape fences?

I've got one I used for horses for several years. The pulser in mine has gone bad and sears no longer carries it. Be aware in extremely dry weather {like we have here} electric fences arn't too efective.
