Sealing new concrete frost walls

Got the footers in. Frostwalls being poured tomorrow and the slab next week. The original 50 year old frostwalls are coated with asphalt. I'll address the drainage issues, but also want to seal the new frost walls. It occurs to me there might have been a better substance than asphalt developed in the last 50 years. What are your suggestions for coating the exterior frost wall of my slab extension? TIA

The best thing I've heard of is Elastomer waterproof coating. It creates a plastic coating on the surface.
