Does anyone have any experience with a sealed replacement battery for the U1 that Deere puts in the X series tractors? I 'd prefer a sealed battery to one with acid. Don't like the genius idea of removing the hood to check the battery water level.

Sears has die hards available to fit most garden and utility tractors, atv's, etc. They have cross reference books available, but take the specs and measurements for your current battery with you too just to be safe.
