SCUT FEL lifting force

Hey guys, just a quick question. For you guys with a SCUT and FEL, how much do you think you can lift? I'm estimating I should be able to lift 5-600#'s once I get my hydraulic issue fixed on my Mitsubishi MT 372 D. My FEL is 40" wide and I'm hoping I can lift a bucket full of dirt, safely of course, does that sound about right?

I am not sure what model it is. It says Quick- On on one side then 72 on the other but I can't find anything online for it.

So I don't currently have an actual ballast but I use a 72" blade or a 40" tiller.

Does anyone have a 38" wide bucket or around that, if so how much approximately can you lift? Right now I have hydraulic issues and I'm trying to figure once I get it figured out what u should be able to do.

What it will lift depends on the diameter of the cylinders and the pressure on them.

The limiting factor is the load rating of the front axle.

My Kwik-Way loader bucket is 42" wide, TORO front axle rating is 1800 pounds.

Wow, I really need to figure out my hydraulic issue because I can't come close to that! I how do I find out what the spec on my front axle is? I've looked on-line for specs but that is one that doesn't pop up. It's a 4x4 so the housing is more substantial than just a spindle.

I don't know. The TORO uses a Spicer axle, the load rating was listed in the service manual or some other brochures that I have.

After looking at the axle it looks pretty beefy, I am pretty sure it wouldn't have a problem lift a bucket full of dirt or a shy of a bucket full or rocks. If I need to lift something flat like a pallet I would the 3point hitch.

I am pretty sure I have the bucket lift issue figured out so now I just need to fix it and start using the bucket more. Thanks for the help.

XFAXMAN: I enjoy your pictures of that thing, even if looking makes me temporarily cross-eyed. Reminds me tractors are a big world and to keep an open mind.
