The exterminator told my wife the lone ants walking around in the house are scouts and if they're killed, the rest won't follow. I just got one called Flint McCullough and another that claimed to be Rowdy Yates.

I made a mistake on Rowdy Yates. It was the scout, Pete Nolan, that I eliminated Rowdy was the ramrod.

What kind of ants do you have? If you have sugar ants, put a bait box wherever you see the ants walking and they'll disappear quickly.

Thanks for the tip. We're in fire ant country but, these look too small and I don't know what kind they are.
