Scotts- Mulching Kit

Anyone know where I could find Mulching Kit for Scotts 2348? I'm sure John Deere will have them but thought someone else might know where I could get this Kit for a little less money. I think Kit is close to $200.00 at JD Dealer. Thanks

I found Mulching Kit at another JD Dealer for $145.00. Home Depot had told me they could order one for $149. Other JD Dealers $185. to $189. Found one online for $160 plus shipping. Who would ever think that there is that much difference dealer to dealer for a small item like this?

I believe I paid $199.00 three summers ago at home depot for my scotts 2554, works great!

Update re mulching kit from JD Dealer for $145. Kit came in Thursday and when I went to pick it up the salesman told me actual price was $169. plus tax. I told him he quoted me $145. when I ordered kit and he said no problem $145. then. No hassle whatsoever. Jut shows that they evidently have a pretty good markup. Installed kit Friday and it works great and easy to install, even for me.

I would be more inclined to believe that there was a mark-up and the dealer swallowed the difference, in good faith to you. Usually the dealer wants to keep the customer happy - although they likely find some customers are easier to keep happy than others. I want my dealer to be happy, and stick around for the long haul. I hope the rest of his customers do too.
