Have Scott( last year,made by john deere) model 2654.Drained hydrostatic because some "pro" gave wrong info as to oil type,@ I added hydralic fluid (small leak) @ John Deere parts man said not correct,this year (only year )uses 5/50 synthetic engine oil. J.D. said 2.5 quart capicity.Could only get 1.75 quarts in to full mark. Only found 1 drain plug. Kept it full last season @ operation was fine, but slighty noisey. This season,grones like low oil level in vehicle power steering,(loud) and barely moves unless forward pedal is slamed to full,and sounds @ operates normal until I stop, then same thing. Is there someplace I should bleed system, or should I just slash my wrist? Has 700 hrs.
