Sometimes things are too good to be true. I spied an add on Kijiji for a used 60" Kubota front mount plow for a B3030. The price was right, but there was no photo and the add provided little detail, and didn't identify if it was just the plow or plow and sub-frame. :(

After a coupe weeks of sparse and cryptic e-mails back and forth and eventually a call to the person who placed the ad I determined that it did include the sub-frame and had been used very little. A blurry cell phone photo verified the above sufficiently to send me on a 2 hour drive via the bank machine. :licking:

6 hours later I was unloading a like new B2763 plow with sub-frame and all the necessary pieces. All for a measly $700!!!!:D

It's christmas all over again!!!!

A couple hours later I was plowing!!! A very good day.

That's great. Hope you get some snow to use it now, and maybe post some of the pics in the "snow weapon" thread. :)

Interesting comments about the email exchanges. I've had those too, when using Craigslist. Seems sometimes the seller just doesn't want to have anything to do with questions. Just supposed to say "I'll take it" I guess.
Then there are some who won't let go. Ask a question and send polite note back that "not interested" (I don't try to counter their price by low-balling), but the seller just keeps pushing the sale.

I'm feeling pretty happy about the way it worked out. I had actually bought an old plow off an International Scout a week ago with plans to fab up a mount, but when I got it home I quickly realized it was way too big. So this more than makes up for that disappointment. Even better, I traded the International plow to my neighbor for old New Holland Manure spreader he has. It's in decent shape and has to be worth at least $500 and I only paid $200 for the plow, so it's been a good implement week. My wife is looking to find an Attachments Anonamys chapter near by...

The guy selling the plow posted his ad on December 20th, but didn't have a photo and the description was poor. He's a busy Landscape/Snow removal contractor so the responses he sent were short, like two words, likely on a Cell phone. Turned out to a be a really nice guy.

I spoke to a dealer in our area who had recently sold a well used B2763 (Plow only) for $800, and he quoted me $1100 for the quick hitch, so that's over $2000 CDN after tax (13%) for well used plow.

I took some shots of it in the daylight with thoughts of adding a post to the snow weapons thread. Not sure if it's a "weapon", but it sure is a nice way to speand a few hours in the winter.:) I feel like one very spoiled brat.

You didn't buy that, you stole it! Congratulations on a great buy!

How well does it plow? I have a B3200 and I'm kicking around getting a plow for snow. There is a 60 and a 72 inch model available from Kubota. Is 60 inches wide enough to cover your tracks when angled? I'm leaning toward the 72 incher with rubber squeegee cutting edge to save the turf. Been trying to get feed back on other forums but no luck yet. I'm concerned that 72 might be to much but then again Kubota offers it for my tractor as a snow/utility blade. I'm running ag tires with a 75% fill on the rears with rim guard. I would also like a box scraper on the rear set up for snow removal in addition to the front blade. Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated.
