Just starting to research these things and somewhat confused.
What I would like to plant eventually would be corn, sunflower, beans/peas in rows (mostly for wildlife, but eventually, will plant to consume/sell some to friends/family, etc.
I noticed Sweet has a nice Massey 2 row corn planter with fertilizer hopper, too, for about $1500 plus shipping. Has one set of plates for corn. Could this be modified (different plates available?) for sunflower/beans?

Or should I be looking at something else? Trying not to break the bank...would like to stay around the $1500 mark, at most.
