I have 80 acres here. The standing joke - " watch out for men coming in pickups. They will take all your dirt in one load". I have several spots where the basaltic lava is at the surface. Size of your kitchen table and a couple the size of half a tennis court.

My property is a combination of bunch grass and stands of ancient Ponderosa pines.

You have created a really nice place around your pond Gene. Represents a whole lot of work.

check out Fly Hot Springs geyser near Gerlach. Google it and you'll see some spectacular photos on line. Here's a shot I took 40+ years ago:

That's cool seeing it in the early days. I was there in 2011 and this was the best I could get from the road since the property was posted and I don't blame them...I would too.
