Scat Trak Prices

I found a late model, (don't know the year, he says 2002), 1500D Scat Trak with 1400 hours. I could buy it for $8000. Seems like a good deal to me, what do you think?

I think $8000 for a 1500 pound-class skid isn't bad, but you will likely run into some problems selling back the machine for a competitive price. Unless Scat Trak was prevalent in your area, they likely won't have as high a resale value as Bobcat, Case, or Cat.

That said, they are generally built well and don't have horror stories associated with them -- that I have heard.
