Understood. Sharper angle = shorter life. I see they do assume a constant torque (horsepower & rpm).
I just found it odd that a shaft run at 15-20 degree angle, which doesn’t seem excessive, only has a 45-90 hour lifespan?
For some, that may only be one season. Or 1/2 a season, etc..
