Pretty good video OldPath. If a picture is worth a 1000 words a video like that is over the top. You were right about the quick hands!! Does he bundle them in different grades or just bundle them as they come ?? Who does he market them to - the end user or bldg. supply outfit ??

Yup, several grades, mill runs, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8 shakes, clears, No. 2s and bargain basement culls, more info at his web site ckshingle, Next time your riding around stop in, he likes talking about his mill.
He started a small order this week for someone, giving that Detroit a good workout, good chance to find any issues. The muffler he put on makes a big difference quieting down the noise it puts out, also added a spark arrester.

Thanks OldPath. I like equipment like that. I remember I saw an antique shingle mill at an Old Home Day in Granby VT about 40 years ago. It ran on a one-lunger. The old mechanism was fascinating.
