Saw Minot at TSC, Is this Chinese?

I was at my local Tractor Supply Co. and saw they are selling 25 and 30 HP Minot tractors. They say Proudly Assenmbled in Indiana. They look Chinese, are they, What make?

AH the MINOT, last years Farm Pro with orange and black stripe. Saw them being loaded while I was at Homier earlier int he week. I guess I could advertise KAMAs as proudly assembled in Arkansas /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif. The did make some nice changes at TSC request, radio, nice tool box, engine block heater, etc. but the price is supposed to be higer than available from your local Farm Pro dealer, and that is where you will likely have to get service on the minnow oops Minot tractor. Farm Pro dealers at the recent meeting were told that TSC selling the Jinma tractor will help us because the tested many tractors and felt the farm pro/minot/jinma to be the best value to offer their customers. We were pretty much told that TSC couldn't compete with a local Farm Pro dealer, there are over 600 tractor supply stores and only about 240 Farm Pro dealers. W'ell see. It is a test market only in some NE areas so many reading this will not see them unless it works sucessfully in the test market. Farm Pro dealers are getting all new models for this year, spring seats, wrap around headlights, shuttle shift option, remote hydraulics, etc. prices adjusted accordingly. Didn't think to ask what the warranty was on the Minot...

I need some remotes for my jinma, perhaps a retrofit kit for em is available rather than a make it you'reslef one?

Aright now, Virginia is not in the NE!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have a bunch of TSC's that I understand some of which are getting these though.

The price I saw was higher then what i've seen elsewhere. The 30 Hp with a Koyker loader was slightly higher then I paid for my 55 hp Kama with Koyker loader from Chip.

In all fairness, prices are up a bunch since then. Our new 55HP tractors will be about $2000 more than they old ones, but will be built on a heavier chassis and have EPA approved engine.

We were at the local TSC last night (Westminster, MD) they have 3 sitting out front (1 small, and 2 of the larger models). The 25 had a huge puddle under it, apparently leaking oil out of the crankcase...other than that, not bad for the price.

Any chance of getting those 70 or 80hp Kamas in? Like the one we saw on eBay a while back?
