Can anyone give me an idea what the Mitsubishi or International equivalent models to a 1979 S550G Satoh are.
Specifically what the Mazda equipped one litre (60.23 cubic inch) gas engine models might be.
I am attempting to source parts (engine, ignition, cooling system) from time to time and this may help as most tractor or auto parts shops give you a puzzled look when you say the name "Satoh"??? Also, If anyone also knows what years those equivalents were built, that would help.
It seems in Canada there were only a few dealers closer the American Border where legitimate Satoh models were sold, reducing the number sold and the popularity or awareness of this brand in the Great White North!
I have seen the Satoh history docs but it is not too clear to me now if they were in fact legitimately sold in Canada.
