Satoh 650G
Hi Folks-

Things are looking bleak for my older Satoh S-650G tractor. It's had either a Mazda or Mitsu motor.
Here's a couple numbers that I was able to find on it. S262114 stamped on the block. S-650G-401933
on the tranny.

At any rate, it has been running hot all summer and typically I fill the radiator full of coolant when
I start to mow. After about 20 mins it will blow all of the coolant out of the overflow tube as steam.
I then have to wait for it to cool down re-fill and continue mowing. Well, this last time I must have
waited to long to cool it down because it stalled and won't re-start for anything. It turns but doesn't
sound like it is firing at all. I pulled the plugs and 2 of them were wet with fuel/coolant (not sure which but
smelled like mostly fuel). I cleaned the plugs and re-installed them. I checked to make sure I'm getting spark
at the coil as well. I pulled the rotor cap and cleaned the contacts which didn't look bad at all. I spoke briefly
with my local tractor mech and he said it would be bad thermostat or water pump that I may have warped the
head. Any suggestions that I can pass along to my mechanic before I have him pick it up. He is worried about
parts availability and I'm worried that the motor is toast and not worth fixing. Thanks in advance.
